Mass Procession on Maha Shivaratri
A mass procession was organised in Udaipur by Shiv Dal Mewar on the eve of Maha Shivaratri. Hundreds of devotees participated in the procession by this social group and carried along pictures and idols of Gods and Goddesses. The procession started from Town Hall campus and travelled across major places in the city with akhadda demonstration throughout the route.

The mass procession started from Town Hall at 11.45 am and after covering all the major circles of the town including Surajpol, Mandi Ka Naal, Mukharji Chowk and Delhi Gate, concluded back at the starting point.
According to Manish Mehta, President, Shiv Dal Mewar, the procession also included a Maha Joyti Ling (Replica) besides the tableau procession.
Meanwhile, other Shiv temples located in various parts of the city and nearby places were also lavishly decorated with colourful lightings.
