A three day annual fest of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University began today with various programs and competitions; the fest was inaugurated by Kiran Maheshwari, MLA of Rajsamand.

While addressing the present guests and students at the inaugural function, Kiran Maheshwari said that such cultural programs encourage students to nurture their talents. Program was headed by Prof. I. V. Trivedi, Vice-Chancellor of MLSU.

Professor D. S. Chundawat, Dean Students Welfare and Prof. Kailash Sodani, Faculty Chairman of Education Division were special guests for the program.

MLSU Student union’s President Pankaj Borana and Vice president Praveen Singh Asoliya welcomed the esteemed guests.

On its first day, several competitions, including Mehndi, Rangoli, Poster, Cartoon, Collage, Face Painting, Debate etc. were held. On-the-spot Photography competition was also enjoyed by the students. The program was coordinated by Kritika Singhvi and Garima Kothari.

According to Kritika Singhvi, Organizing Secretary, winning participants would be awarded on closing ceremony of the fest on 20^th December; Kritika added that due to an unfortunate incident of murder of a 1^st year student of BN College, Swarnim Fest is called-off for one day. All the events of 18^th Dec. are postponed for 19^th Dec, while closing is ceremony is kept unchanged on 19^th Dec.

Kritika further added that all the interested participants of the events of 18^th Dec. have to register on 19^th Dec. on or before 9 am, late entries will not be entertained at all.
