Tourism Malaysia has appointed Datuk Musa Yusof as its new DG, effective Dec 3, 2018, succeeding Datuk Seri Mirza Mohammad Taiyab who officially retired last weekend.

Prior to his appointment as the new DG, Musa had served as senior director for the international promotion division (Asia/Africa).

Musa started off his career at Tourism Malaysia as an assistant director of the enforcement and facilitation division on July 7, 1990.

He also held many key positions in the industry — which included working as special officer (tourism) to former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Tan Sri Sabbaruddin Chik (1997-1998).
