Nakoda Ji Bhajan Sandhya

Nakodaji is one of the holiest places as per Jainism. To worship and praise Lord Nakoda, a ‘ Bhajan Sandhya’ was organized at the Town Hall in Udaipur by an organization named Nakoda Purnima Mandal on 14 ^th November 2010. In this evening dedicated to Lord Nakoda, people gathered in large numbers. The evening began with the chanting of Navkar Mantra and an Aarti was performed of the Nakoda Idol by 108 diyas. ‘Bhajan’ is a poem sung in a musical and rhythmic way and thus the lord is praised and so is his world in a musical, harmonious and devotional manner. Not only is the chanting but also the listening of such Bhajans a pleasant and relaxing experience. The people gathered at the Town Hall were mesmerized by the experience and the Bhajan Sandhya continued until late night.
