Preparation for Christmas commences at Shepherd Memorial
The festival of Christmas, celebrated across the globe on 25th December, the birth date of Jesus Christ, is the biggest festival of the Christian religion and is celebrated with passion among the members of the Christian community in Udaipur. Month long programs are organised for Christmas and special prayers on the X-Mas day are organised in the Churches.

Celebratory programs in the Shepherd Memorial Church have already started with the Holy Communion Worship Service from 2nd December, the first Sunday of the Christmas month, while the Bible Sunday would be celebrated on 9th December, along with the practice of Christmas Carol by various groups.
Parminas Mathew, Secretary of the Church Committee informed that decoration of the church has already started at Shepherd Memorial, the main theme being the village scene of Bethlehem representing the birth of Jesus, the design and setup being done by Minoo Cawasji, Joel Joshua and Aakansha Joshua.
Programs will be held on every Saturday and Sunday of the month with Night Carol Singing at the Church and houses starting from 16th–23rd December, X-Mas Midnight Service on 24th and the Christmas Morning Worship on 25th December by Pastors. A special program of Masihi Qawwali would be presented by Mohabbat Ajmeri (Anugrah John) on 26thDecember.
