Acharya Sukumalnandi Maharaj, speaking on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan stressed on the importance of the day in a meeting at Adinath Bhawan today.

He said, “Rakshabandhan is not just a day for brothers and sisters, it’s a responsibility to assist and be with each other on every difficult corner.”

He added, “The day is celebrated differently in every part of India and the Shrawan Sudi Poornima stories related to it also depict the unity and integrity of our nation.”

The audience tied the Rakhi-knot to Achraya Sukumalnandi after the ritual of Abhishek-Shantidhara for Shriji.

An 11kg laddoo (sweet dish) was offered at Shreyans Nath Temple on Sammed Shikhar during the occasion.

Concluding the event, Kheer (milk based sweet dish) was distributed to all and few pieces of play were presented by the Parshwanath Yuva Manch.
