Round Table India, Ladies Circle India in association with Dainik Bhaskar is organizing their 5^th edition of AVINS Run for Reason on 28^th October 2018 at Lake Fatehsagar Pal.

Round Table India is an organization of young men between the age group of 18 to 40 years who work together to build school infrastructure for the underprivileged children under their program of Freedom through Education. Round Table India has built 6189 classrooms in 2588 schools at a total cost of Rs. 244.65 Crores which has benefited around 60 Lac children. Round Table India is a recipient of 10 Gyan Bhushan Awards last year for their contribution in the field of primary and secondary education across Rajasthan. Round Table India (Udaipur) has built around 25 classrooms in 8 schools at a total cost of around Rs. 1.75 Crores.

Last 5 years, around 1500 to 2000 runners have been participating in this event every year and this has become the biggest running event of Udaipur. This year Run For Reasons is being presented by AVINS as their title sponsor. Run for Reason this year is supported by Karnataka Bank, Indra IVF and Prateek Powertech. The proceeds from this event will go towards the classrooms that Round Table India is building in Udaipur. Round Table India (Udaipur) has two ongoing projects near Udaipur – Government Upper Primary School, Pahada and one in Government Adarsh Sr. Secondary School, Kumbhalgar.

There will be different categories this year for the run. There will be 4 categories – Under 18 Male, Under 18 Female, Above 18 Male & Above 18 Female. Age as on 27^th October 2018 will be considered. Minimum age criteria is 13 years.

The participants have to register for the run and collect their marathon vests and RFID chest numbers from the registration counters which are located in the parking area near the overflow gate of Fateh Sagar. Results will be computed through RFID technology making the competition fair as the RFID chest numbers will carry a computer chip to track exact timing in which the participant will complete the race. The route of the run will be Fateh Sagar Over flow gate  – Devali- Rani Road- Rajeev Gandhi Park- Mahakaleshwar Temple- PP Singhal Lane – Fateh Sagar Pal- Fateh Sagar Overflow gate. The start and finish line will be the same near the Fateh Sagar Overflow gate.
