PRATISHTA DAY MAHOTSAV AND NAVGRAHA POOJA AT SREE AYYAPPA TEMPLE

The 30^th Prathista Day Mahotsav and Navgraha Pooja on the occassion of foundation day of the Sree Ayyappa Temple is being held on April 21^st till 23^rd April, 2012 at the temple premises at Udaipur.

This three-day celebration would start at 5:30 a.m on 21^st April, 2012 with the Ganapati Homam followed by Usha pooja, Noon pooja followed by the afternoon the program that would commence at 5.00 p.m, when the ceremonial flag will be hoisted amidst chanting of ‘Swamiye Saranamayyappa’. This would mark the beginning of the 3-day celebration.

On 22^nd April, apart from the hawan and pooja, navgraha pooja would be performed at the temple, starting from 8.00 a.m, in which hundreds of devotees are estimated to participate.

The concluding day will witness hawans, various poojas, bhajan, Melam by Kalamandalam Sreekumar and Party, Delhi and the program will conclude with fireworks.

There will be Bhagwat Parayan all the three days and Mahaprasad on 23^rd April during day time.
