The Muslim Mahasabha of Udaipur conducted a silent rally to express their concern over the riot hit state of Assam where domicile of thousands of Muslims have been disrupted and they are now forced to live in rescue camps.

The Muslim Mahasabha of Udaipur conducted a silent rally to express their concern over the riot hit state of Assam where domicile of thousands of Muslims have been disrupted and they are now forced to live in rescue camps.

The protestors also handed over a letter to the District Collector in the name of the Prime Minister of India, demanding strict action against the alleged BODO activists involved in the riot that killed tens of people.

Irfan Multani, spokesperson of the Mahasabha said that the Central Government should ban BODO and sack the Assamese leaders who are responsible for the irate communal riots in Assam.

They also demanded to relocate all riot victims to safer locations and compensation should be given to them.
