Slum Colony residents demand land patta
Communist Party (Marxist) of India protested outside collectorate today against government’s housing development schemes. The local organizations like Avas Adhikar Sangarsh Manch and Kachhi Basti Federation jointly expressed their concern over the prolong demand of providing houses.

Leaders including B.L Singhvi, Rajesh Singhvi, Bhanwarlal Barber, C.K Verma, Pratap Singh Devda, Ibrahim Kheradi, Ranjit Singh Chouhan, Javed Khan, Rajendra Vasita, Damodar Kumawat etc addressed the protestors and alleged that both the ruling party BJP and opposition party Congress are alluring the common man by their schemes, promises and impressive speeches, but reality is different.
Following the protest, representatives under leadership of B.L Singhvi met the collector and demanded to get land patta for people who are residing in slum.
The group when asked district collector Ashutosh Pednekar about the development on the issue, he informed that administration and UIT are working on it and 250 Bigha Land at Bheelo ka Bedla is also finalized. Soon all residents of slum colonies will get land patta.
