Teachers are the building block of the society. Their duty is to nurture the kids to be a responsible citizen and gentlemen/gentlewomen. 5th September, teacher’s day of the country is celebrated to pay homage to the efforts of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.

Their duty is to nurture the kids to be a responsible citizen and gentle men/women. 5th September, teacher’s day of the country is celebrated to pay homage to the efforts of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was one of the greatest teachers of the country and was born on this day. The toil he put in the development of the country are unparallel, and so we celebrate his birth day as teacher’s day.

Honoring all such nation developers we asked some of the talented students of our city to say thanks to their ideal teachers. Here are the profile of these scholars and their words :

School: St. Pauls Sr. Sec. School (1999)

College: BBM from Viday Bhawan Rural Institute (2002) and MBA from ICFAI-Hyderabad (2004).

Present position: Lead Content & Learning at IBM Hyderabad.

Who is your ideal teacher in school and why?

“I cannot name one teacher and say that he was the only who sculpted me to this success. There were many hands that gave shape to my personality and success. I remember Late Sir Ramesh Verma, Madam Savi Maloo, Sir K.V. Jose, Sir P.V. Jose, Sir Rasheed, Sir Dak, Sir Tankachand, Madam Goswami, Madam Maggi, Madam Lilly, Madam Florance, Madam Veena, and Madam Koshi… The list is never ending. I remember two most important people who were principal during my schooling Late Father Vargis Baria and Late Father Marshall. Their efforts were untiring and fulfilling.”

Thanks message to your teacher: “Dear Teachers, I understand your value, not just because my mom was also a teacher and she felt very happy when today her students greets her, but also because you have shaped me into a better human being. My gratitude knows no bound and can never be expressed in words. Thanks for all the efforts you put into me.”

School: The Study School (2005)

College: B.Tech. – DA-IICT (2010) and NMIMS (MBA, 2012)

Present position: MBA student at NMIMS, Mumbai

Who is your ideal teacher in school and why?

Rajesh Dhabai Sir– “He was someone who always motivated me, both in studies and sports. I remember an incident when I fractured my finger on the morning of half-yearly exams in school and did not want to give the exam but he motivated me to write as much as I could and I secured 94% in that paper.”

Manish Jaiswal Sir – “He was a teacher who made me learn the toughness of life and he still guides me.”

PS: I haven’t forgotten a single teacher, it’s just that due to shortage of space, can’t name them all.

Thanks message to your teacher: “I will always be grateful to all of you for your overwhelming support and confidence in me. The knowledge you gave me has helped me reach this far and sure to take me to greater heights in life. I have been well guided by you, in each and every demanding situation of life. I really feel proud to be remembered by the teachers, even after passing out so many years ago, and this shows the love you all still bestow upon me. I thank you all and wish you a prosperous, great life ahead and hope to see many Ambanis, Tatas-to-be passing out from the school, with your guidance and support. Pankaj Gelde Sir: “He was one of the teachers who made me aware of my deficiencies and guided me to work over them. According to him to overcome your deficiencies is the way to perfection. This line has always been an encouragement to me to move towards improvements.”

“Whenever I ask myself that whatever i have learnt is humane or not? I get the answer as yes and it is just because of Mrs.Natasha Tyagi, a great teacher. A lady born to teach and who is doing her job very truly and greatly. She always ask her Pupil to Live,and Live loud,,don’t just survive.
