The upcoming yearly celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi in Udaipur is complimented by new attractions with the combined efforts of Bohra Ganesh Temple Trust and Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC).

The upcoming yearly celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi in Udaipur is complimented by new attractions with the combined efforts of Bohra Ganesh Temple Trust and Udaipur Municipal Council (UMC).

Various add ons to this year celebration would include, big projector on Bohra Ganesh Circle, CCTV cameras and a fair for the devotees. Moreover, a cultural programme will be hosted by West Zone Culture Centre (WZCC).

Madhu Paliwal, Counsellor of the area informed in a press meet, “We have made special arrangements to overcome parking problem and traffic situation in the area, a projector screen will be installed as one can worship the deity even in rains, for the safety measures CCTV cameras will also be installed in various parts of Temple and connecting road”.

According to Hindu calendar this year the event is scheduled on 19th September, while the celebration of the same will be starting from 18th midnight and will continue till 2.30 pm on 19th September at Bohra Ganesha Temple.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with immense zeal and passion every year in Udaipur, in which mass worship is organized in every corner of the town, by installing the replica of Lord Ganesha. The celebrations extend for ten days.
