Udaipur’s well known miniature sculptor Iqbal Sikka has added another feather to his cap. This time he has created, what he claims to be, the world’s smallest set of playing cards.

Sikka has sculpted the playing cards out of silver. The cards in the card set are 8mm by 6mm in size. The numbers, face cards and different suits are very well earmarked on the card and the card, despite its size, can still be used for playing.

Each card weighs only about 2 gms. Sikka said that the previous record for world’s smallest playing card set was held by an artist from Cleveland, Ohio, USA who had sculpted 24mm by 15mm card.

Sikka mentioned that he sculpted the cards using miniature tools that he had created himself for his work. The cards, viewed clearly by magnifying glass, have been presented for making a case for registering them as world’s smallest set of playing cards.
