When Udaipur was welcoming New Year 2015, Rain God showered his love on the people last night. Though the sudden showers lowered the temperature further, Udaipurties enjoyed this sudden surprise whilst their celebration. It started drizzling last night at 11:15 pm which continued for 15 minutes. Then after, moderate rainfall was recorded throughout the city starting at 12 am and continuing for two hours.

According to Irrigation Department, Udaipur City received 2.8mm rainfall last night. Also, there is a very less chance though; that we will see such sudden showers again soon. The temperature today took a dip and was recorded 14 degree in the day, with fog covering almost every area of the city. The visibility is around 500 mts in the fog, so be aware while driving. With the change in weather, parents were expecting a holiday tomorrow for their school going kids, but no such order was passed by the administration.
