Udaipur, June 30, 2025 - The monsoon is displaying varied patterns across the State. Udaipur city has not witnessed heavy rainfall since the past 5-6 days except for witnessing light drizzle. The daytime temperatures on Sunday, June 29, rose by 1.8°C, reaching 30.2°C. However, this is still 7.3°C below the average June temperature of 37.5°C. Night temperature also rose slightly by 0.4°C, settling at 24.9°C, which is 1.5°C below normal.
On June 29 heavy rains were recorded in districts like Jalore, Pali and Sirohi. The Jaipur Meteorological Department has issued alerts for heavy rainfall in Jaipur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Udaipur and some other areas for the next four days.
So far, between June 1 and June 29, Rajasthan has received 156% more rainfall than the seasonal average.
According to the weather office, from July 2 a new weather system is expected to become active likely bringing moderate to heavy rainfall across the region through July 6.
