Cold Declines, Temperatures Go Beyond 25°C in Some Cities
Winter in Rajasthan appears to be on the decline as daytime temperatures cross 25°C in several cities and Barmer records over 30°C; nights remain cold in some areas
Udaipur, Feb 6, 2026 - The cold is steadily and gradually declining, particularly in the day and at least for the time being. Daytime temperatures on Thursday (February 5) in most cities of western Rajasthan crossed 25°C. In Barmer, the temperature went above 30°C.
However, because of chilly winds in the evening, the minimum temperature in three cities remained below 5°C.
According to the Inda Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather will remain clear for the next two weeks. The minimum temperature across the State is expected to rise by to 2 degrees over the next 3-4 days.
In Udaipur, over the past 24 hours, the maximum temperature was recorded at 25.8°C, below 1.1 degrees from normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 12°C, which is 2.9 degrees above normal, according to the IMD.
