Udaipur witnessed a cloudy morning today which indicated the slight effect of deadly cyclone Hudhud. Many cities in the state including Alwar and Jaipur received rain and thunderstorm.

Known as very severe cyclonic storm, Hudhud claimed over a dozen lives in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.

According to MLSU Professor Dr. S. N. A Jaffery, “The impact of Cyclone Hudhud has spread across 1000km area caused by long scale effect of the turbulence of wind and cloud. It is same like when a drop of water falls into a water body, the force of the drop makes waves and spread till it touches the end.”
