Cyclone Vayu has changed its direction and moved towards Oman. Though the coastal area of Gujarat faced the terror of this cyclone, the moving away will result in less or no rain in Udaipur region. There are probabilities of very mild pre-monsoon rain.

Temperature graph fell to a great extent in Udaipur giving relief from the scorching heat. It dropped by 5 degrees in a day and was recorded at 34.5 degrees. Now all the hopes are on rising temperature in the desert area as this can bring rains. The city witnessed clouds and extremely light rain in some areas. As per the met department, 208 mm rain was recorded in the past 24 hours.

It is important that temperature goes high in the desert regions as this will activate monsoon by creating low pressure in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. Expectations of monsoon are going high since the satellite footage supports monsoon soon.
