Udaipur, April 25, 2025 - In recent days, there has been a fluctuation in the heat levels in the State. At one time when the temperature had reached around 43°C, it then suddenly dropped to 37°C. This rise and fall in temperatures has occurred owing to changing wind patterns. Now that the winds have slowed down, the temperature has started rising again. Over the past five days, the temperature has increased by about 4 degrees and has once again crossed the 40°C mark.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), yesterday, April 24, the daytime temperature was recorded at 40.1°C and the night-time temperature at 19.6°C. The day before, on April 23, the maximum was 39.7°C and the minimum 18.8°C. Thus, there was a rise of 0.4°C in the daytime temperature and 1.2°C in the night-time temperature. As a result, the daytime temperature is now 1.6°C above the average. However, the night-time temperature is still 2.8°C below the average.

The minimum temperature in Udaipur today is likely to hover around 25°C, while the maximum temperature might reach 39°C. The mercury level is expected to hover around 38°C throughout the day, with the wind speed around 8.33.

The temperature in Udaipur is expected to rise further in the coming days.

In the next 3 to 4 days in Rajasthan, there is a possibility of an increase in temperature by 2-3°C. Between April 25 and 30, some areas in the western and northern parts of the State may experience heatwave conditions.

Owing to the impact of a new western disturbance, on April 26, some parts of Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota divisions may witness thunderclouds and light rainfall post afternoon, along with strong winds blowing at a speed of 40–50 km/hour.
