Heavy Rain continues in Udaipur

Rain Gods are showering their blessings in Udaipur region, according to Meteorological Department Dabok, it received 32.2 mm rainfall in past 12 hours, while yesterday on 6 Sept, 11.9 mm rainfall recorded.

Heavy Rain continues in Udaipur

Rain Gods are showering their blessings in Udaipur region, according to Meteorological Department Dabok, it received 32.2 mm rainfall in past 12 hours, while yesterday on 6 Sept, 11.9 mm rainfall recorded.

Chota Madar Dam overflowed today at 5.15 PM. Following the heavy rainfall, neighboring villages are in total power cut.

Till 6.30 PM, the overflow level of Chota Madar was 2.50 inch. Bada Madar, after acknowledging the continuous down pour has reached 16 feet height, on the total of 24 feet gauge.

Heavy Rain continues in Udaipur

Sisarma hits 5.5 feet flow at 4 PM, and the inflow of the water descends to Pichola, which in-turn forced Swaroop Sagar gates to be opened by 1 inch at 6.45 PM.

According to Water Irrigation Department, in last 10 hours, reading of Udaipur town records as 28 mm, Kotda as 100 mm, Jhadol as 48 mm and Gogunda as 53 mm rainfall.

Heavy Rain continues in Udaipur

Department reports the last yesterday 6pm – 8am rain received in Swaroop Sagar was 28 mm, 32 mm in Devas, 45 mm in ChotaMadar, 54 mm in Nai, 20 mm in Udaisagar and 7 mm in Vallabh Nagar.

Its drizzling constantly from the past 24 hours in the region and everybody is wet happily. As one of the joke on internet read as – God is pouring Rain in last 24 hours like a Salesman has to complete his Sales target at the end of month.
