Heavy Rains Forecast in State from July 27 to 30
Rainfall activity to pick up in eastern Rajasthan next week, low-pressure area forming over Bay of Bengal to trigger widespread rains
Udaipur, July 23, 2025 - Rainfall is expected to resume once again across the State. According to the
India Meteorological Department (IMD), a circulation system has formed over the Bay of Bengal. Owing to its influence, a new low-pressure area is likely to develop around July 24. This system is expected to increase rainfall activity in eastern Rajasthan between July 27 and July 30. Light to moderate rain is also expected in some areas between July 24 and 26.
According to the IMD, on Tuesday July 22, some areas in Alwar, Dausa, and Kota districts received rainfall. Alwar recorded 64 mm of rain, while Lawan in Dausa received 80 mm.
