Udaipur weather has become extremely cold. As the cyclone Ockhi subsided, clouds started playing their games again. Udaipur district had another spell of light rains(mavath) on Monday morning. Some areas in the district experienced rain even on Sunday night.

This was the time when sun played hide and seek. People shivered indoors and later were delighted to have enough sun to provide relief to the cold-ached bodies. Those who had wedding ceremonies going on were initially disappointed, but clear weather followed and gave a much needed relief to all. On Monday temperature recorded was 13.4 degree. Sunday the minimum temperature was 13.2 degree.

Public was seen taking stroll at lake side after the sun moved out from behind the clouds during the day. Also, there are plenty of thelas in the market selling winter health food like gud-chikki, til laddoos, til barfi and sweets made of coconut.

Public can also be seen at the sweet shops having jalebi with hot milk. Energy laddoos and halvas are already high in demand. With temperature to fall even more, it is an old remedy to stay warm with all these above mentioned varieties.
