NASA claims that the Indo-Pak is one of the few borders that can be viewed clearly from space during night.

Justifying this statement the premier space organisation shared a stunning picture taken on September 23, of the Indo-Pak Border at Night.  The picture, taken by astronauts of the Expedition 45 crew using a Nikon D4 Digital Camera having a 28 mm lens shows the border line glowing with its orange security lights.

It also shows the long winding border illuminated brightly along the Indus River Valley and towards the west, can be seen the cluster of lights that is Karachi, a port city of Pakistan.  One can also make out the Himalayas towards the Northern stretch.

An earlier picture shared by NASA in 2011 shows the border looking South East from the Himalayas.
