Udaipur Faces Intense Heat, Temperature Rises Above Normal

Udaipur, March 25, 2025 - Udaipur city is experiencing intense heat as the temperature continues to rise. On Monday, March 24, 2025, the daytime temperature increased by 1.1 degrees, reaching 36.7 degrees Celsius. This is 3.3 degrees above the average for this time of the year. The night time temperature, however, did not see much increase.

According to the Meteorological Department, a western disturbance will become active in Rajasthan on March 25 and 26, 2025. This weather system will mainly affect western Rajasthan. However, Udaipur and nearby areas may also experience partial cloud cover and strong winds.

Due to this disturbance, there will be no major change in the temperature over the next two days. From Thursday, northern winds are expected to bring a drop in temperature by 2-3 degrees.

Over the past week, the maximum temperature has risen by 5.3 degrees. The minimum temperature has also fluctuated by 7.2 degrees. The hottest days were recorded on March 10 and 11. In Dabok, the temperature saw a sharp rise, with the daytime temperature reaching 37.5 degrees after increasing by 2.2 degrees. The nighttime temperature in Dabok increased slightly by 0.2 degrees, reaching 16.6 degrees.
