Season has changed its fold from hot sunny days to hazy mornings in Udaipur, with a pleasant arrival of winter season. Today maximum recorded temperature in city was 23 degrees in noon while midnight temperature dropped to 13 degrees.

According to meteorological department mercury is expected to drop at freezing point in weeks to come. The forecast by the department suggested that minimum temperature can be seen close to 7 degrees in night while in day the same would be around 18 degrees.

The sudden change in climate has also invited seasonal diseases in town where cases of Viral fever and cold are prominent. Sources informed that Udaipur has also received winter showers in its nearby areas.

Speculating severity of season a rush was seen in Tibetian Market for buying winter cloths. Large number of public was observed making necessary purchasing earlier this evening.
