With the severity of chilling winter, school managements are looking forward to change timings for both toddlers and senior students; Mewar Sahodaye Complex an association comprising all Private Schools following CBSE pattern forwarded a fax to city administration on behalf of schools.
According to Dr. Lokesh Jain, Coordinator of Mewar Sahodaye Complex informed that announcing holidays would be affecting timely completion of syllabus, therefore have collectively decided to change the school timings to start from 9:30 am to end at 3 pm for students of 1st to 8th standard.
“In northern parts of Rajasthan both Private and Government are instructed to extend holidays till 12th January, though Udaipur and its nearby districts are kept apart from the decision, local administration asked private institutions to fax suggestions, so an appropriate step can be initiated”, said B. R. Bhati, Additional District Collector, Udaipur City.
Udaipur in this season has already experienced its coldest night on very first day of the Year, when mercury dropped to 7 degrees.
