After much delay in rains, the South-West monsoon revived in Udaipur with heavy rains in the city and adjoining areas on 19^th July, affecting normal life and vehicular traffic.

The South-West Monsoon has revived in Eastern and Western parts of Rajasthan covering Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions since 18^th July, the official said.

In a span of 20 hours from 8.30 AM on Sunday, Udaipur recorded 26 mm rainfall followed by Jaipur which received 19 mm rainfall. Monsoon activities will continue in next 48 hours in the state, as per the forecast.
