Udaipur, October 21, 2024 - A drop in daytime temperatures was recorded in 18 cities across the State on October 20. Night-time temperature drop was felt in most cities with the mercury falling below 15 degrees Celsius.

Last evening, light rain occurred in some areas of Kota and Dausa. In Jaipur, the daytime temperature rose by 0.2 degrees to 36.6°C, while the night-time temperature dropped by 1.7 degrees to 21.8°C.

The largest drop in daytime temperature was recorded in Barmer, where the temperature fell by 4 degrees, reaching 35.0°C. Four cities in the State recorded temperatures below 20°C. Minimum temperature in Mount Abu was recorded at 14.4 degrees. Also the minimum temperatures in Sangaria, Dabok and Sikar were recorded at 18.3, 19.7, and 18 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Weather experts have cautioned of temperatures dropping notably from the last week of October following snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir.
