No Respite from Cold Despite Rising Mercury
Currently, there is no likelihood of unseasonal rain (mavath) in Udaipur and the Mewar region
Udaipur, Dec 20, 2025 - Udaipur continues to reel under cold conditions, despite both the maximum and minimum temperatures staying above normal. On Friday (December 19), both day and night temperatures were higher than normal. In the past 24 hours, the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.0°C, which is 2.2 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was at 9.4°C, which is 2.3 degrees above normal. In December, the average temperatures are 26°C during the day and 8.8°C at night.
A new Western Disturbance is active over the Arabian Sea owing to which conditions are likely to remain foggy over the northern parts of the State, as per the weather office. Because of cold northern winds, night temperatures will remain low. The weather will remain mainly dry, and there is currently no possibility of unseasonal rain (mavath) in Udaipur and the Mewar region.
