Continuous water from Sisarma and Devas has filled Lake Pichola, resulting in the overflow of connected Lake Swaroop Sagar. Madri Dam and Lake Udai Sagar are also overflowing.

Lake Fateh Sagar started receiving water from Chota Madar.

According to the weather department, Dabok, 21.8 millimeter of rain is recorded in last 24 hours whereas 20 millimeter is recorded in last 12 hours.

Today heavy thunderstorms with rain were reported in early afternoon. Series of rainfall continued till night.

Due to rain, citizens are facing the most common problem of power cut and water logging.

Motorists are facing trouble on roads due to its pathetic conditions. Many city roads are damaged with potholes etc.

Many roads of Sukher, Pratap Nagar, Goverdhan Vilas, Sevashram, Ashok Nagar, Shastri Circle, Bhopalpura, Hiran Magri, MB Hospital, Udiapol etc are creating risk for the motorists as small and large holes filled with water is creating havoc.

The rain has also flopped dandiya events at many places. Majority of dandiya venues are receiving very few gatherings due to rainfall.

Tree Collapse at Devali

A large branch of a tree fell down at Devali Area due to heavy rain.

Few cattle were trapped in the branch which was immediately removed and animals were rescued by the locals.

People of the area alleged that even after requesting administration about the tree’s condition nobody responded.
