Weather forecast site Skymet Weather has predicted rain and dust storms in portions of Rajasthan including Udaipur. The weather is expected to clear by 4-March.

The weather forecast stated, “Dust storm and thundershower with winds gusting to 40-50 kmph at some places and hail storm in pockets will occur over Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Barmer, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bikaner, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Churu, Dausa, Dhaulpur, Dungarpur, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jalor, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunun, Jodhpur, Karauli, Kota, Nagaur, Pali, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur districts of Rajasthan from today evening up till March 3, 2019.”

While the temperature may increase slightly over next 24 hours, the weather would cool off again after March 4 when dry and cold northerly winds would start.

Rains and thunderstorms are result of fresh western disturbance over North Pakistan that is gradually moving towards Jammu and Kashmir. This is set to induce a cyclonic circulation over southwest Rajasthan.

Isolated thunderstorms and dust storms are set to start in Rajasthan from Friday evening (today) and will result in scattered rains over large portion of the State on 2-March.
