Rain showers on Friday afternoon drenched the city once again. The major problem faced was water logging on some of the main areas of the city.

This was the second consecutive day when rain poured down with full force filling in enough water Pichola, Fatehsagar and other water bodies of the lake city. It was cloudy since morning. It has been reported that heavy thunder and lightning at Jaisamand Pal caused fear among the natives and tourists both. Pichola and Fatehsagar have a good inflow of water from Madar again due to rains in the catchment areas. One of the gates at Fatehsagar overflow is still kept open.

A rise in water level has been noticed in Madri dam, Goverdhan Sagar and Devas dam. Pratapgarh has recorded 75 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. Udaipur city recorded 27 mm, Salumber 44 mm, Vallabhnagar 24 mm, Bagolia 21 mm, Jaisamand 10 mm, Kejad 36 mm, Devas 26 mm, Som pickup 12 mm, Kotda 11 mm and Semari recorded a rainfall of 15 mm.
