Moderate to heavy rainfall has been predicted in Udaipur over the next 24 hours by weathermen. Heavy intensity rain has been predicted by Skymet Weather to lash Udaipur along with other districts of Southeastern Rajasthan.

Skymet Weather reported that Udaipur recorded a rainfall of 33.1 mm in the 24-hour period that ended at 8:30 am on Monday morning. This rainfall was due to a low pressure area that is currently over South Rajasthan and adjoining areas. This weather system got compounded due to the effect of Monsoon trough that is also passing from Bikaner towards north east Bay of Bengal. As a combination of these two weather effects, heavy rainfall had occured.

The low pressure is expected to continue in the region for the next 24 hours and resultantly districts of South eastern Rajasthan like Jodhpur, Barmer, Udaipur and Chittorgarh are expected to receive heavy rains.
