In the past 24 hours that ended today morning, Udaipur nearly received 33mm of rainfall; it further rained throughout the day in regular intervals on Tuesday, leading to a nominal flow of few inches observed at Sisarma. According to the rain data provided by Irrigation department, till Monday the city had been showered with 254 mm rainfall in totality, which is more than the normal seasonal rain for Udaipur. Despite of the exceeding rainfall figures, city lakes are still deprived of any major rise in water levels. According to the prediction shared by meteorological department, weather is expected to remain cloudy whereas a medium to heavy downpour is predictable for next 48 hours.
