If weathermen are to be believed, the city’s answers to some good rainfall will hopefully be answered over the next 18-24 hours.

Moderate to heavy intensity rain has been predicted by Skymet Weather to lash Udaipur along with other districts of Eastern Rajasthan.

The reason for these rains has been attributed to the cyclonic circulation over Haryana and nearby areas, along with the axis of Monsoon trough which lies in the close proximity.

The weather site reports that rain and thundershowers with isolated heavy rains is likely in large portion of eastern Rajasthan including Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Churu, Hanumangarh, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk and Udaipur districts of Rajasthan during next 18-24 hours.
