Rajasthan to See Temperature Spike Over Next 48 Hours
Udaipur touches a maximum of 32°C in the past 24 hours, which is more than 1.7 degrees above normal; minimum was 15.4°C, which is again higher than normal by 1.8 degrees
Udaipur, March 2, 2026 – Temperatures are rising across Rajasthan with around 12 cities reporting maximum temperatures nearing 35°C. Udaipur touched a maximum of 32°C in the past 24 hours, which is more than 1.7 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was 15.4°C, which is again higher than normal by 1.8 degrees.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Monday (March 2), the maximum temperature in Udaipur is expected to be around 32°C and the minimum temperature would be around 16°C.
Across the State, on Sunday the maximum temperature was recorded up to six degrees above normal, while the minimum temperature also saw a rise of up to seven degrees above average. Barmer recorded the highest maximum temperature at 36.5°C. Jodhpur reported 35.1°C, while Fatehpur recorded 35.5°C. Pali recorded the highest night temperature at 20.6°C.
Meanwhile, as per the IMD, the weather will remain dry for the next seven days. The State is expected to experience rising heat over the next two days, with both day and night temperatures likely to increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
