Rajasthan Shivers: Nine Cities Under 10°C as Northern Chills Hit

Udaipur sees warm days and chilly nights; Fatehpur and Sikar coldest; dry weather to persist with 2–3°C further drop

Udaipur, Nov 12, 2025 - With dry weather expected across the country for the next week, the effect of northern winds will continue. Cold wave conditions are likely to persist in Tonk, Sikar, Churu, Nagaur, and several other areas, causing a further 2-3°C drop in temperatures.

Udaipur experienced temperature fluctuations on Tuesday, November 11. The day was warm despite an early-morning chill, but it turned cold at night. The maximum temperature dropped slightly by 0.2 degrees, settling at 28°C, whereas the minimum temperature rose by 0.5°C, reaching 12.4°C.

Over the past week, temperatures in many cities have dropped by 5 to 7 degrees, causing a sudden increase in cold conditions. In the past 24 hours alone, temperatures have fallen by another 2 to 3 degrees, with most cities recording readings 5 to 6 degrees below normal. Last night, nine cities recorded temperatures below 10°C with Fatehpur and Sikar being the coldest at 6.9°C and 7.5°C respectively.
