Rajasthan Weather: Monsoon May Revive from Sept 12
The next four days could relatively be dry across Rajasthan, says the India Meteorological Department
Udaipur, Sept 8, 2026 - Monsoon again appears to be weakening in Rajasthan, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather office said that on Monday the monsoon trough moved from its original position towards northern India. Hence, the next four days could relatively be dry across the State. Rainfall activities may revive from September 12, says the forecast.
On Monday, September 7, only four districts - Alwar, Kotputli, Sikar and Rajsamand - saw above average rainfall. In the past 24 hours, Nathdwara in Rajsamand recorded around 28 mm of rainfall. Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Churu also saw overcast skies and light rain.
Light rain is expected in Kota and Bharatpur divisions today, September 8. Udaipur continues to experience warm days. The maximum temperature on Monday was 34.1° Celsius and the minimum temperature was 21.8° Celsius.
