Rajasthan Weather Shifts; Warmer Days, Cooler Nights
With the onset of October and the exit of monsoon in the State, Rajasthan has started to see a fluctuation in temperatures
UdaipurTimes, Oct 3, 2026 - With the onset of October and the exit of monsoon in the State, Rajasthan has started to see a fluctuation in temperatures with hot, sunny days while a chill settles in during the nights. In some places, particularly in the western parts of the State, the maximum temperature crossed 40°C. Pilani recorded the highest temperature at 40.2°C on Friday, October 2. Sri Ganganagar was at 40.1°C, Jaisalmer 39.9°C and Churu 39.3°C.
Night-time temperatures have dipped in the eastern and southern districts of the State. Udaipur, Bhilwara, Sikar, Ajmer and Kota are seeing below-normal minimum temperatures.
In Udaipur, for the past two days the day-time temperature has remained above 35°C, while the night-time temperature slipped below 20°C. On Friday, the maximum temperature was 35.4°C and minimum 18.6°C.
The weather office has forecast clear and dry climate conditions across Rajasthan from October 3.
