Rajasthan Weather: Yellow Alert in 20 Districts Over 4 Days

Udaipur, Jan 6, 2026 - Rajasthan continues to reel under extreme cold conditions with the mercury dipping below 10°C in most districts, while nine districts recorded temperatures below 6°C. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow alert for cold wave conditions along with dense fog in 20 districts over the next four days. Impacted cities are Alwar, Baran, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dausa, Deeg, Dholpur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Khairthal-Tijara, Kota, Kotputli-Behror, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk, Churu, Didwana-Kuchaman, Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar.

Udaipur’s maximum temperature recorded in the past 24 hours was 19.2°C, which was 4.1 degrees below normal. The minimum temperature recorded in the past 24 hours was 5.3°C, which is 2.3 degrees below normal.

Meanwhile, Jaipur and Sri Ganganagar experienced the coldest daytime temperatures, with maximum temperatures recorded at 14.8°C in Jaipur and 14.3°C in Sri Ganganagar.
