Red Alert for Heavy Rain in Udaipur Division

Udaipur, July 14, 2025 - The monsoon has become active once again in the State. Udaipur witnessed incessant rain from early this morning (July 14). The skies remained overcast and temperatures have dropped. Today, July 14, temperatures are expected to hover between 27°C and 22°C. Thundery showers and gentle breeze expected today.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy rainfall in 14 districts across the Kota, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions. It is anticipated that more than 8 inches of rain could occur in these districts by July 15.

Rain activity is expected to decrease from July 17 in eastern districts and from July 18 in western districts of Rajasthan.

Till July 13, Udaipur division has received 192.50 mm of rainfall with Vallabhnagar receiving the maximum at 272 mm. Udaipur city has received 153 mm of rainfall.
