Udaipur is expected to received moderate to heavy rainfalls over the next 3-4 days. Heavy rains that have lashed the city may be here to stay for next 4 days as per weathermen.

Skymet Weather has predicted that moderate to heavy rains will continue over many parts of East Rajasthan for next 3-4 days. Places like Udaipur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Kota, Ajmer, Sawai Madhopur and Jaipur may expect moderate to isolated heavy showers.

A well marked low pressure area is persisting over Bay of Bengal. This is likely to move inland towards Western India via Odisha, Chhatisgarh, Vidharbha, MP towards East Rajasthan. This movement is the one that is expected to bring in the showers.

East Rajasthan has already reported surplus rainfall of 16%. This surplus is expected to go up further with the rains expected over coming few days.
