Udaipur city has witnessed another day of continuous rain showers with heavy to moderate rain reported in all parts of the city. The persisting rain resulted in water level of lakes rising continuously.

Needless to say that rain has made the weekends joyful. We are presenting two reports (Morning and Evening) provided by Water Irrigation Department.

Morning Report

As per the readings of Water Irrigation Department, Udaipur received 67 mm rain from 6 PM of 7^th Sept till 8.00 AM today.

With the readings of morning, adding to the happiness of Fatehsagar lovers, the lake is capacitating 5.5 feet, whereas, Swaroop Sagar and Pichola is on 9.9 feet.

Chota Madar is overflowing 2.9 feet from Chikalwas feeder, which later resulted in 2 feet when forwarded onto tail of Fatehsagar.

Badi Lake has its level reached till 12.6 feet, Udaisagar Lake on 15.9 feet, Nandeshwar channel is flowing 5 feet.

Bada Madar is flaunting on 20 feet, on the other side Sisarma running on 8 feet.

In Udaipur region, Kotra received heaviest amount of rainfall with 149 mm till today morning.

Evening Report

With the readings gathered by Water Irrigation Department from 8.00 AM till 6.00 PM today, Udaipur received 10 mm rainfall.

Pichola continues to receive in-flow of water from Sisarma which is currently running at 8.25 feet. On the other part, Swaroop Sagar overflows with 0.5 inch while the gates are still closed
