Soaring temperatures are an indication that either the Gods are angry or this is the stillness that occurs before a storm.

With the rise in the temperature, everyone is in a fix. People are not willing to move out in 30 degrees during the day. The unexpected rise in day temperature has become talk of the town. When the month of August should be enjoyed amidst rain and tea and pakodas, increasing heat is twitching everybody’s brow.

On Wednesday , met department recorded a temperature of 32 degrees during the day and 22.9 at night. It is expected that temperature is not going to show any mercy in the coming days. It is expected to go beyond 30 or stay as is but no fall is expected. The days may be cloudy or with some sunshine. The most wanted rainfall will be experienced only as drizzle to the minimum. Udaipur city hasn’t experienced rain showers since almost 15 days.

There are no chances of heavy rainfall in the next few days, as confirmed by the met department. Just a few drops here and there might make the public hopeful but in vain. Even the temperature at night might fluctuate by 8 or 9 degrees. The last few nights have seen 22 degrees and may not change to a great extent.
