The fluctuating temperature is bringing relief from the spine chilling cold. Monday was a comfortable day after the biting cold that the city experienced in the last fortnight. The day was cloudy and public witnessed a rise in temperature during day and night both. The met department recorded a rise of 3.7 degree in maximum temperature taking it to 27 degrees. Minimum temperature on Monday was 13.6 which was 8.4 degrees on Sunday.

The rise in temperature has brought back life on streets in the city. The city lanes that were almost abandoned during evening and night hours are back with some “hulchul” proving that the upcoming festival of Basant Panchmi is bringing relief to the masses.
