As per met department, the effect of El Nino is the reason for the rise in temperatures and this is likely to continue until the month of May. The western parts of Rajasthan will be under the effect of heat waves in the next 24 hours. Minimum temperature recorded was 19 degree.

Roads were close to abandonment following the unbearable heat. People preferred to spend time indoors. The heat will increase in the coming days and is likely to give some relief by the end of first week of April.
