All hopes fell flat on the ground in Udaipur city when the rise in temperature started troubling with the increase in heat waves and scorching heat. The heat was enough to keep people indoors and despite it being Sunday, the market areas were almost abandoned. Even the lakesides did not have enough public where normally Fatehsagar lakeside witnesses crowd on holidays. Clouds gave some hope but only for a while as the rising temperature forced people to stay with their homes. Power cuts and shortage of water is already creating havoc with life. Public stayed busy storing water for daily needs.
Only Nathdwara witnessed mild rains which lasted for around 2 hours. Strong winds kept blowing for half an hour in the evening. Power cut was of course troublesome.
