Udaipur, March 8, 2025 - According to weather office Skymet, a western disturbance is currently active over Afghanistan and expected to reach Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow, March 9, night. After this, two to three more western disturbances will become active leading to a rise in temperature until March 15-16. During this period, the night temperature is also expected to rise.

Yesterday, the temperature in Jalore and Dungarpur crossed 37°C. Barmer recorded the highest temperature at 38.6°C.

The minimum temperature in Udaipur today is likely to hover around 20°C, while the maximum temperature might go as high as 33°C. The mercury level is expected to hover around 20 degrees Celsius throughout the day, 

The rest of the country will see gradual weather shift with rise in temperatures, according to weather reports. In Gujarat the pre-monsoon heat will intensify and temperature is expected to exceed 40°C from today. Delhi and theNCR will mostly remain clear and dry. Light rain is possible during Holi. Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra Punjab and Haryana will all see rise in temperatures.
