In Udaipur, even on the fifth day of the heatwave conditions are rising, but the temperature is expected to drop. People are making various efforts to get relief from the heat.  According to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur, the wind speed in southern Rajasthan had been almost negligible for the past 10 days. It has increased in the last 2-3 days. Currently, the humidity in the air is between 40 to 60%, whereas it was only 12% in the previous days. At 7:00 am today, Udaipur recorded 27 degree and at 10:00 am the temperature increased to 32 degree. 

It is said that when humidity is higher, water absorbs more heat, causing the temperature to drop. However, humidity will now increase. There will be relief from the heat starting from today May 29 and more significantly from June 1, 2024. The maximum temperature in Udaipur is 34°C. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature at the Salumber district headquarters is 36°C. 

According to the Dabok center of the Meteorological Department, on May 28, 2024, the maximum temperature in Udaipur was 41.4°C and the minimum temperature was 29.9°C. On May 27, 2024 the temperature had reached 45.4°C.
