Udaipur Sees Sudden Daytime Warmth Amid Chilly Winds
Warm afternoons, cold nights continue as fog impact reduces and flight operations normalise at Maharana Pratap Airport
Udaipur, Jan 15, 2026 - The city is witnessing fluctuations in the mercury with the past 2-3 days seeing a sudden rise in the day-time temperature. The maximum temperature has risen by 6.6 degrees although chilly winds in the early and late hours of the day has kept the winter momentum going.
An improvement in visibility and lessening of foggy conditions has brought relief to travellers as flight are now operating on schedule after continuous disruptions.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in Udaipur over the past 24 hours was recorded at 25.2°C, which is 0.8 degrees higher than normal, while the minimum temperature in the past 24 hours stood at 7.0°C, which is 0.5 degrees below normal.
